My story
As a child I fell in love with the ancient Romans. I learned Ancient Greek and Latin, vacationed in Italy and learned Italian.
In 1997 I moved to Rome, and I began to tour and study Italy intensively using Rome as a base. I still have a Roman accent when speaking Italian!
In 2013 I moved to Como. I fell in love with Como, and I decided to stay here for the rest of my life. There is so much within 2 hours!
I can only hope to help others appreciate Como and Italy as much as I do!

I find and pull out exactly the right points that resonate with you bringing history to life.
I tell our local story of Como through the drama and comedy of our illustrious historical citizens, who lived here in a human and personal way.
In addition to the ‘what, who, where and when’, I focus on the ‘why’ of the story, which creates meaning for our present day life.
Como is so much more than a picturesque location to unknowingly see as so many tourist bus groups do with non-local guides!
I invite you to tour Como city and Lake Como with me, a local, and appreciate the historical gifts and masterpieces from Como to our modern civilization.
